Typing lessons (Typ-10)
Learning touch typing gives children — especially those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, or concentration difficulties — breathing space at school. Silke is a certified Typ 10 coach and playfully teaches children touch typing in small groups over 10 sessions.

What exactly are typing lessons?
Typ 10 is a structured, scientifically grounded method to teach children touch typing. It was developed from therapeutic insights into how children learn motor skills, and consciously appeals to multiple learning channels: seeing, hearing, feeling, imagination, and memory.
What does this mean in practice? In about 10 lessons of one hour, children learn to find the keys blindly and fluently. Because it takes place in small groups, there is room for tailored support. An online module (with a two-year license) also lets your child practice and play at home.
Important distinction. Typing lessons are not therapy for a disorder, but a skills training. They are especially valuable for children with dyslexia, dyspraxia, fine motor or automation problems, and children with ADHD or ASD — precisely the children for whom fluent typing removes many barriers.
Assessment & testing
Typing lessons are a series of lessons, not an assessment. Instead of a speech therapy report, we work towards an exam and a diploma.
10 lessons of 1 hour in small groups, where your child learns to touch-type playfully through images, colors and rhymes.
Through an online practice platform, your child continues to practice at home at their own pace — repetition makes typing smooth and automatic.
At the end of the series, your child takes a typing test: touch typing, at a smooth speed and with sufficient accuracy.
Those who pass receive a Typ 10 diploma [te bevestigen] — a wonderful recognition of what your child has learned.

Typing lessons are a skill training, not therapy for a disorder, and are therefore not reimbursed by the RIZIV.
